How to get Alpharetta recreation and greenway weather updates

Alpharetta directs residents to the Rainout Line app for updates affecting recreation programs, activities, events, Wills Park Pool and the greenway.

To find the city’s information, search within the app for Alpharetta Recreation Parks and Cultural Services. The department’s instructions explain that users can mark a program with a star to save it and use the bell to enable notifications.

This makes it easier to follow the activity a household actually uses, rather than rely on a general weather forecast to infer whether a class or facility is operating.

The city lists 678-297-6130 for assistance with the app. Check the relevant program entry shortly before leaving, particularly when conditions change during the day. An earlier notice may not describe the latest status of every facility.
